Where will artists and designers draw inspiration from when all that can be digital is digital. What would these logos look like without the book element? How would we visually communicate the concepts of publishing, library, reading, and literature without the icon of the book?

Chris St.Cyr is a partner at the design firm 2COMMUNIQUÉ and full-time faculty at Ringling College of Art and Design. His work has won numerous design awards and he lectures regularly on design and design education. Chris has an MFA from the Digital Media Institute at Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
